I need some books that start out really good cuz I think I feel a slump coming on and this would help. Thanks

Vicious by V.E. Schwab hooked me from page one. It has one of the best first chapters I've ever read!

The Uglies by Scott Westerfield, Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Mass
I got in a bad slump and The Sound of Gravel pulled me right out.
Definitely Switched by Amanda Hocking. One of the best attention grabbers for me because of the situation
Cinder by Marissa Meyer, plus others i don't really remember right now
I'd say The Faithful and the Fallen series by John Gwynne and any book by Sarah J. Maas. She just knows how to write a story :)

Strange the Dreamer, by Laini Taylor. It was written almost like a fairy tale or fable, and I really wanted to find out what was going to happen to the main character from page one!
The northern lights by Philip Pullman, a recent read that left me pleasantly surprised as I don’t care as much for fantasy as I used to and I completely devoured this book !

Deep Blue by Jennifer Donnelly. I JUST finished reading it. *hugs her book* Mermaids and girl characters with magic and not tons of romance. Yay!

Valkyrie by Kate O'Hearn, too. Probably my favorite trilogy, at least at the moment.
A Darker Shade of Magic. Most addicting thing I've read since a while.
