It's honestly my all-time favourite YA series. The sequel The Wicked King is even better and exceeded all my expectations. Can't wait for Queen of Nothing in November! Recommend! ?

message 228: by Maritina (new)

Maritina Mela (maritinamela) | 16 comments The first ones that I can think of, that managed to do this, are The Golem and The Jinni which I loved ? ӦϦ ?Ҧ̦Ϧ (= The Light of the World) which even tho had a good beginning, is honestly one of the worst books I have ever read and ?ʦѦԦ ӦϦ ʦɦ?˦ (=Machiavelli's Tears) which I just finished and even tho it wasn't horrible, the second half wasn't as good as the first and the conclusion created major plot holes.
