Order of Playingggg:
Each team take turns in a predetermined rotation. There will be a time frame (will mention it on the discussions) and people can post their books that they have finished.
On their turn, each player must declare exactly one “major action.” if they manage to read a book
If a player cannot finish a book at that time frame, they may do the action of another teammate who has read a book at that time frame.
By the end of the time frame of a team's turn (may be 3 days or 5 days or more, will decide after starting) Then the 'Literary Organizer' must post the turn and the actions of each of the players on the 'turns' discussion.

Integrating Reading: The Core Mechanic
Every Action Requires Reading:
When doing the declared action, the player must read at least one book (in the time frame of their teams turn) and add it in the 'turns' discussion by the assigned 'literary organizer'.
Minimum Requirement: literally one book for a team turn (but that means every person in the team doing ONE action only), because if only one person in the team manages to read a book at that time frame then there is only one action to do and that action will apply to every person in the team. (Like everyone getting an ice cream and all getting the same flavor)
BUTTTTTTT HERE IS THE BUT!!!!!!!! BUT YOU HAVE TO DISCUSS THE BOOK IN THE BOOKS DISCUSSION SECTION OF THE CITY CHAOS GAME! DISCUSS IT WITH OTHER PLAYERS EVEN IF THOSE OTHER PLAYERS ARE ON A DIFFERENT TEAM (or you can even discuss it with moderators because they are also sometimes there). OUR GOAL IS TO ENCOURAGE READING AND DISCUSSING ABOUT THE LITERATURE THAT YOU'VE INTERACTED WITH
If you've read two or more books in the time frame, you can only use one (preferably the longer one) because you can't do two actions at the same time in real life, you can't go to the supermarket while simultaneously going to the cinema at the same time.

Skill Development:
Reading-Based Skill Tree: After reading 1000 number of pages cumulatively as a team, unlock add one point to EVERYONE'S skill (Intelligence, Strength, the players will choose whatever skill they want everyone in the team to upgrade like +1 point for Intelligence for every team memberrr or +1 point for Endurance for every team memberrr)

NOW THESE ARE FOR THE MODS NOW IGNORE IF YOU'RE A PLAYER (you can also play this game as the mods! Being a Mod, you can control the fate of EVERY PLAYER and EVERY EVENT/SITUATION (i mean duh cuz this is a role playing game, we are like the masters)
After sending the turns, the MODS will pick a random edition of the book chosen and will check the last two digits
Moderators will glance at that “two-digit code” as a random indication (like a dice 🎲).
Impact of the Two-Digit Code:
Use that two-digit number (00–99) as a seed or “roll” to determine success/benefit:
00-09: bruh Its a serious penalty, you probably fell in a cliff of something.
10-19: accident? Something REALLY bad happened
20-29: something bad happened
30-39: you didnt do it
40-49: you almost did it but maybe there's a caveat
50-59: woah you did it but nothing really happened
60-69: you did it and something happened!
70-79: something GOOD now happened because of that
80-89: WOAHHH LUCKY REALLY GOOD HAPPENED
90-99: SUCESSSSS WITH MORE BENIFITSSSS
Bonus Mechanic: Every hundred pages (100 page book versus 700 page book on the first edition we get when we click a book) WE GIVE THEM ADDITIONAL BONUS BENEFITS. (so maybe if you read a long book but got 01 on the last digits, it cancels out!) nithing devastating happened!
Then We Narrate The Consequences/Positive Effects of their action: Write a short (1–3 sentences) outcome summary after taking their turn like for example “Your team’s attempt at stealing an ice cream from an ice cream truck partially works and you secure a cool chocolate sundae but attract nearby suspicion.” in the Current events and copy paste it on their respective team discussion.
Core Responsibilities cuz that☝️☝️☝️ is just what we do after they take their turn:
1. Yeah just look up what happened yesterday and put that events in the "Current Events" (because City Chaos takes place on earth like IN REAL LIFE but one day, just edit it a little bit to whatever event you want, it will just be used as an incentive for people to have new ideas on what they want to do in here.
2. Verify Reading: Ensure each declared two-digit code matches a plausible book length (using the goodreads editions randomly).
3. Track the "Player Status" & the "Map + Locations"
Format:
TEAM ______
Player:
Wallet:
Inventory:
Physical Status:
M&E health:
Intelligence:
Strength:
Endurance:
Location:
Currently Doing:
4. Manage the mini games and "___ Of The Month" and the 'polls' ant the future 'Discover Folder' (i will add that as a new feature in the future, y'all wait 🫷 🫷 🫷 its really goooood bruhh)
5. Manage the registration, sign ups, and assigning people to their respective teams.
6. Doing punishments when people rule break/penalty of the law. BECAUSE THEY'RE BAD MEMBERS 👿👿👿
Minor Offense: Warning + skip next turn or small fine (–$50).
Major Offense: Temporary ban from the game (e.g., “jail for 5 turns”) or complete removal from the city.
Rule violations like 'being hateful, bullying, sparking meaningless debates, hate speech and of course cheating'
