For YA I'm reading Glitch where the world lives underground and feelings are controlled by... chips in their brains. They feel no emotion unless you Glitch like the heroine.
For MG: Nothing yet but I'm getting a couple of books from the library soon!

I'm reading Around the World by Matt Phelan. He illustrated The Higher Power of Lucky, winner of the 2007 Newbery Medal, as well as its sequel, Lucky Breaks. Matt Phelan was also the author and illustrator of The Storm in the Barn, which won the Scott O'Dell Award for Historical Fiction.

I am reading a Juvenile book, The Iron Thorn,

I love Matt Phelan's illustrations. I know about his book The Storm in the Barn when I came across his blog a few years ago. You know that there is a play based on it?

Bloodlines is just a spin off series about Sydney and Adrian. It has all of the characters in it though. Mostly talks about alchemists.

Oh! I'm on the third book of the Vampire Academy so I think I know what happens now love wise.. maybe.

I just finished Glitch today and really liked it but I'm not so sure about the love part. I know it wasn't instalove but it was still kind of fast. Other than that it was awesome.

I'll probably be reading the sequel to Dairy Queen for YA which is: The Off Season

Oh yeah. The first book is Anna Dressed in Blood right? What is that about?

Would have never expected it was about a boy. By blood I thought she was a vampire or something. Way more interesting than I thought. (:

Ugh. I have been not feeling so well plus school and spending some time with my gorgeous mama. So I haven't read that much but now I'm reading four books at one time!

Night Circus for my at home book club, Stupid Fast
(I'm half way through!) for the tbr challenge, The Golden Compass for this readalong I'm doing for my blog (hosted by someone else), and A Month of Sundays that I just started and I know I will devour!

If you end up liking A Month of Sundays, I think you'll probably also like Belle Prater's Boy, Ruth White's 1997 Newbery Honor book. I noticed that it's already on your to-read list.

On the list for me today: finishing The Perks of Being a Wallflower, hopefully continuing with Cinder. Perhaps I'll start Gone Girl if I finish Perks before it gets too late tonight.

I'm currently reading Specials by Scott Westerfeld. I'm interested in seeing how it compares to the first two books of the "trilogy", Uglies and Pretties.

lol. Love triangles are awesome if done right. I can't help but love chick lit. I love mushy romances and I love really girly books sometimes.

So many exams and I got an essay this week. I'll try to read Stupid Fast. I have to got to the library soon too. I've got like 8 books waiting for me. My dad will not be amused.

Actually, there are another two! When I finish Specials and Extras, I'll still have Bogus to Bubbly: An Insider's Guide to the World of Uglies to read. I'm interested in seeing what that one will be like.

I did this thing for school - Reading Plus where it helps you with your speed and your comprehension. The highest level is M which is college level. Guess what level I got?.........C! What is that! I kind of wasn't paying attention in the first two things with what I was reading because I blanked... Oh well. I'm pretty excited to do this and get really fast in my reading. I want to be able to read books in not time. I'd be able to read so many. It would be amazing :D

I don't think that this is a typical guide, though. Oftentimes official companions and guides aren't written by the author, but as far as I can tell, Scott Westerfeld actually wrote this book. I'll have to look into it to confirm that for sure.

I'm reading The Slave Dancer by Paula Fox now. I know that she's a fine writer and The Slave Dancer is her most famous book, so this could be quite a memorable experience.

I just finished The Forever Contract. I really liked it a lot! Really good ya.

Ooh! That The Forever Contract does not look suitable for grade 8 based on the cover... It sounds like a movie that came out with Bruce Willis.
Hmm... I've never seen Storybound. I will have to check it out.

I really liked The Forever Contract. It's more like New Adult than YA. It's short but pretty awesome.

Shorter novels. My mother actually writes short stories, novelettes and novellas. She had me reading them when I was young. I really prefer novellas to short stories because you get to know the characters better. Its hard to care too much about the characters in short stories. when I was a kid The Golden Key was my fave book. it's a novella The Golden Key

I've started reading Cadmus Henry by Walter D. Edmonds. The book wasn't even in the 카지노싸이트 system, so I had to manually add it and enter all of its information, including reproducing word-for-word the description on the dust jacket. The Newbery Medal that Walter D. Edmonds won in 1942 for The Matchlock Gun is what first interested me in this book.

How do you manually add a book?

It's been a while since I first became one, so I can't remember exactly where I found the application here on the site. It's a short form, and I think that they approve most serious applications for the position fairly quickly. Being a librarian on 카지노싸이트 can be a major convenience.

I'm currently reading Triss by Brian Jacques. I've been a fan of the Redwall series for most of my life, and this is the first time that I've read Triss. I wish that I could have met Brian Jacques before he passed away in early 2011. He's a fantasy author nonpareil.

Started yesterday! Seems... different. Everyone has said they enjoyed it, though.

The Escape from Furnace series has become one of my favorites. I had never even heard of Alexander Gordon Smith before I read Lockdown, but I've learned in the months since then that he is a very, very good writer.

I'm reading First Light by Rebecca Stead. It's been slow going and probably will be for the next couple of days, though, because I have a couple of reviews to write and polish and I'm going to be meeting two Newbery Medalists in the next two days! I'll see Sharon Creech Sunday afternoon and Patricia MacLachlan on Monday night. In honor of Patricia MacLachlan's visit, I just finished reading Grandfather's Dance, the final book of the Sarah, Plain and Tall odyssey, on Friday night.

Cool. I actually want to read Half-Blood. Was it any good. I admittedly already read two books I wasn't supposed to. One for a ghost book and the other is the middle grade book. Loved them both :D
