I've never seen a case of assumed/mistaken identity done so well! These characters were immense, vivid, and ever evolving. I was guessing what was going to happen right to the end! There were so many weird and wonderful things to follow in the story that at no point was I ever bored.
The audio, however, was a bit of a problem for me. There were many times it sounded like parts of audio were cut into the original and so they didn't match, increasing in frequency toward the end of the book. Each time it took me out of the story.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author Jessica R. Patch, and Harlequin Audio for my ARC of this audiobook.
