if Criminal Minds and Dexter had a baby, it would be this book.
how- how can a female serial killer who brutally mutilates, tortures, and murders people and an FBI agent who hunts serial killers be one of the dorkiest, cutest characters EVER ?
i did it again guys. i judged the book by its cover... im sorry!!! i legit thought this was some fifty shades typa shit but heck no. this is mostly about revenge because something happened to Lana when she was 16 so now 10 years later, she's out torturing and murdering those who wronged her and now she meets Logan 5 months after she started her killings each month, and he is actually the FBI agent who's hunting her??? dude. What. A. Plot.

even though she enjoys torturing those assholes and has psychopathic tendencies, she can also be a big dork? and because of this and the fact that she has dark hair, green-ish eyes, and she's short, i can't help but picture her as Emilia Clarke?? maybe?? i don't know but that's who i'll picture as Lana till the end of time (i might be biased because she's my favorite actress but don't mind me).
my criminology mind is screaminggg. all the things i learned in my crim classes flashed through my head and i wholeheartedly believe that this is how journal articles should be written because i would actually be interested in my classes for once.
listen. this entire series made me wanna be an FBI profiler/agent but uh- they have to be physically adept and i, unfortunately, am not.

I wanna read that!!! This is exactly the revenge plot I want and know I would love!! And to be honest I judged it by its cover so bad too. So glad to hear you’re enjoying this series. Each book gets better as you read along. Yes, Lana’s past will be brutal and break your heart to pieces when you learn about but it will also show you the resilience and strength this girl has. It be satisfying af!
