Sometimes it is dry and full of dates and names, other times it is more like a narrative story. This book is the latter. I enjoyed a book I read about Benedict Arnold and I was looking forward to learning more about another Revolution hero that I knew little about. There was a bit more speculation than I was expecting but the few tidbits about Paul Revere were interesting. Read full review at ....more

I haven't read anything set in Estonia or read any Estonian authors before. I wasn't familiar with Arvo Part before picking up this book. I wished there had been more of a narrative story. It felt too disjointed - it was almost like reading a timeline. The artwork was good but it didn't really help me understand the story (sometimes I forgot to even really look at them) and I couldn't really tell the characters apart. This would be great for musical people but I didn't really understand all the musical jargon. Read my full review at ....more
