I've always loved mythology and folklore. It's like fanfiction for history, another interest of mine. I am not much of a wait-for-things-to-appear-on-your-path sort of person — I'm more of a run-it-down-with-spears sort of person. So I've sought it out on purpose. The nice thing about mythology is that it's OLD, so it's cheap: you can find great books on it in libraries and used book stores and in wire racks in the back of British scone shops. I have a list of a few mythology books that I like here on GR: /review/list...

Hi Maggie! I have a rather unusual question, but I recently came across your book series in a bookstore in Dallas, TX. It was a signed edition, and inside, there was a little note card where you explained the incredible experience that led to the creation of the series. I've been searching online, but I can't seem to find that note anywhere. Is there a place where I can read it again?
