In an interview with the Daily beast Mr. Noah Charney asked you how The Passage and The Twelve come about? you said "I wondered if my style would change, given the content, but I found out, to my relief, that you just write how you write." Can you elaborate on that? As an author, do you decide upon a style or is it something intrinsic that you discover?

What I meant was this: writing is an extension of the writer’s character. What concerns me as a person, what I think a good sentence is, what a story ought to do and how it should transmit that information. There’s a lot more to it, but it boils down to the inevitability of one’s own personality on the page. You can make certain adjustments to suit a particular tale, but in the end, your voice is your voice.

One of the things I enjoyed the most about "The Passage" was the extreme detail you put into the locations. I have read in previous interviews that you actually traveled the same path as your main characters. If I remember correctly, Zero should be in NYC. Did you spend time there as well and will we be reading about a lot of familiar locations? (clicking sounds in Trump Tower?) :D
