Don't really have a question...just big, big thank you for some of the best ghost stories I have read in years. They say every writer has one good book in them, but you must be stuffed with them. For years I read everything that Barbara Michaels wrote, and then there was no more. You have replaced her with your wonderful ghost stories. I've read 6 of your books now...how fast can you write??

Darcy Coates Thank you! I think I'm a pretty average writer. Most days I write around 1,000 words an hour, but I can get up to 3,000 words in short bursts when I'm excited. Editing is the most unpredictable part of writing--the fastest I've edited a novel was three weeks, I think, and the slowest was eight months.
