Hi, I have a question. Did you mean for August's connection with Daisy to have such a mirroring effect? They are so similar.

Hmm, that’s an interesting question, and I’m not quite sure what you mean by mirroring effect. I think Daisy was simply the only creature in Auggie’s universe that didn’t see his face as looking that different from everyone else’s face. To a dog, we all look a little alike.

Ana Hello R. J Palacio,

My name is Ana Himmelwright and I would like it if you could follow me. I’m sending you a message to tell you about what I thought about the book and the movie wonder that you published in 2017. I think that the book was better than movie. I liked how you gave many details about every persons perspective about Auggie. Augie was a pretty sweet boy and when people kept making fun of him for his facial difference it made me cry. Because it’s pretty sad when someone bulies someone. And it was not his fault that he was born that way. Everyone has something special about them. I likes how his family was always supporting him anytime that he needed help with anything. The best part of the movie was when he got the award. He deserved it because he had gotten bullied so much and he has gone through so much as a kid. Your book was amazing but the movie was great too.
