Stop by Sully’s, the general store with the wide front porch. Campers, hikers, and nature lovers are welcome to refresh and recharge at the outpost passed down through generations. Here’s a quick refresher of the heart-pounding Season 1 cliffhangers. (Spoilers if you haven’t watched season 1 yet.)
• Jackson is recovering from his climbing accident.
• Sydney quits her job and moves out of Rob’s and Finn’s and in with Rafe.
• Cal leaves Sullivan’s Crossing searching for closure. Lola takes Cal’s note to Maggie.
• Maggie has her malpractice trial in Boston, finds out she’s pregnant, and leaves Sullivan’s Crossing, maybe for good.
• Sully is having financial issues, with The Crossing headed for foreclosure. We find out that it was Sully that hit Lola with a car when she was little. Sully collapses with an apparent medial emergency.

Happy Spring!
Dear Readers,Happy first day of spring! Have you noticed that most of the storylines in my books start in spring? The air is fresh, trees are budding, and flowers start blooming. It’s a perfect time to start anew. Now that THE FRIENDSHIP CLUB is available , I’m working on a new novel but not ready to talk about it. Here’s my latest news.

Netflix VIRGIN RIVER News
The Netflix Virgin River series is currently filming season 6! No release date yet for the new season, but 2025 is probably when we can expect it. Season 5 left us with many questions. What will become of Preacher and his new love Kaia? How about Lizzie and Denny, Brie and Mike, Brady and Lark, Cameron and Muriel? And will Jack and Mel find the happiness they deserve? Seasons 1-5 including the two holiday episodes are currently streaming on Netflix worldwide.
The Virgin River universe may be expanding! If you follow me on social media, you may have seen the articles about a potential prequel to the Netflix Virgin River series. The new series would revolve around Mel’s mother and biological father (revealed in season 5) and their time in Virgin River. Here’s the announcement from Entertainment Tonight.
Sullivan’s Crossing TV Series
Friends in Canada, season 2 of Sullivan’s Crossing is coming your way next month. Check your local CTV listing for dates and times. As for the US release, currently no date has been announced. If the release follows the same schedule as last year, we can expect season 2 this fall on The CW Network, but that isn’t confirmed. Here’s what we know so far. Read the scoop from Good Housekeeping.

I hope you’re having a beautiful April so far. This month has both Earth Day and Arbor Day (in the US) along with, hopefully, beautiful spring weather. As you read my books, I hope you’ve noticed my love for the environment — the settings in the beautiful mountains covered by tall trees admired by generations, ocean coasts full of abundant wildlife, and characters who are environmentally aware, conservationists, and responsible, ethical hunters and fishermen. HOLIDAYS IN VIRGIN RIVER

Just a quick note this month to wish you a glorious holiday season. One of my favorite family traditions is Christmas Eve at my house for good food, fun, and opening presents. My son-in-law does the cooking. He’s an amazing cook, much better than I am. I’m better at warming things up! For those of you who love to cook or at least try, I have something extra for you.
