The Ghostwriter by A.R. Torre

Linzi’s first review of the year

it was amazing
I really enjoyed this! Did the KU and audio sync thing. The audio was pleasant. The story really gripped me - which hasn't been the case with a lot of stuff lately.
It's not that I didn't 'see it coming' more that I didn't see _all_ of it coming and honestly didn't care.
I just really enjoyed the pacing and the 8+hours happiness it gave me while I got chores done and tended my post-surgical pup.
Sometimes gripping is the best accolade you can give

Linzi’s last review of the year

it was amazing
This was fantastic. I had no idea!
Coming from the UK who have been sending nurses to war for almost two centuries - Florence Nighingale anyone? I was both amazed and angered by this book. But Kristin Hannah did it wonderfully.
I love books that educate as well as entertain.
Excellent audiobook too.
