Hi everyone. I am going to aim for 50 books in '09. That would, by far, blow away what I have read in any one of my adult years.

You can do it Jeremy!!! As long as you stay away from a lot of large books like War & Peace!
haha. At least I will be able to count that for '09.
So what did you think of War and Peace?
I liked it quite a bit. For the most part I didn't feel that it read slow (even thought it took me forever!) but at the beginning of the 2nd epilogue I started to lose my patience. I'm looking forward to reading another Tolstoy in which he stays away from the war side of things.
I'm about half way through Ana Kerenina, and I think I can honestly say that I preferred War and Peace
No!!!! I hope that I feel differently! :) Although, War and Peace was great, so it wouldn't even have to be AS good for it to be a good read.
It seems so far to be about cheating on your spouses and farming...
Does that ever seem like a popular topic for literature in that era!
I think I should add my school books into my list because i am not getting any liesure reading done!!

Thanks! I sure will have fun. 2009 was a great year of reading and I expect the same of 2010.
