Just asking what everyone is reading in the shortest month of the year?

Just started Empire State and The Magician King

Finally received my copy of Blue Remembered Earth from the mysterious lands beyond the sea.

I am going to read Empire State, The Help, Friday Night Bites, Summer Knight, and one other book that has yet to be unveiled (by my in-person book club).

I am reading, and thoroughly enjoying Seeing Further: Ideas, Endeavours, Discoveries and Disputes — The Story of 카지노싸이트 Through 350 Years of the Royal Society I don't think I'll read anything else till I am done. Side note, since the book has nice color graphics I am ditching my Kindle and reading it on an iPad.

I'm racing through Chill, which is a good, stranded for hundreds of years on a broken down generation ship, calcifying into a feudal society where the AI thinks it's an angel story, but I'm pretty sure it's going to have 'second book problems' which frequent readers of trilogies are all too familiar with.

After that I can get in to The Song of Achilles, which better be good because I've been meaning to buy it for ages.

I just started Dragon Wing and as a little experiment I actually got an audible account and am trying it out on 11/22/63. Still not sure how I feel on audio books, but I will give it a try if for no other reason than to actually see what the big deal everyone keeps talking about is.

Just finished reading The Faceless Ones and was planning on starting a different book from my reading challenge, perhaps Stranger in a Strange Land or Northern Lights/The Golden Compass. But then the ending happened, and now I want to leap straight into Dark Days. I guess I'll need to mull it over some more first.

I'm currently just about to finish Graham McNeil's The Outcast Dead, (as a Warhammer novel it has oodles of swords and lazers!). After that I will probably start The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss.

I am reading Empire State and I will get going on Neverwhere soon. I just finished Simon Pegg's memoir. I give the last a "meh" rating.

Empire State while continuing with 11/22/63, Red Mars. I'm hoping to finish all 3 shortly into Feb, so then hope to get back to The Blade Itself. Really hope to find another "harder" sci-fi

Just finished Fatal Alliance and now reading the next of The Old Republic novels that has recently been published, Deceived (Star Wars: The Old Republic, #2).

I started playing SW:TOR in December and I am enjoying the novels as a little bit of backstory for the game.

Finishing Empire State then need to do some searching of the to be read list....

Finished Rule 34. Starting Empire State. Want to finish Elantris since I should have some time to do so now. Hope to have enough time to at least start The Neverending Story.

Going to split time between finishing Use of Weapons and starting Empire State, which I hope will play into my penchant for dressing like I just stepped out of Boardwalk Empire.

Finished Bitter Seeds on the 1st.

Started How to Live Safely in a 카지노싸이트 Fictional Universe and Good Omens today (the 2nd)

I'm trying to read a few of the Sword and Laser picks I missed before the next book is chosen.

Really enjoyed Bitter Seeds. Enough that I will get the sequels when they are released.

I'm currently reading The Walking and Twilight of the Idols/The Anti-Christ. When I finish those I'm planning to read The Gods Themselves.

i'm reading "extraordinary engines" edited by nick gevers first story i liked second story not so much hoping it gets better.

Finished Dragon Wing, so heading on to book 2 Elven Star . . . and picking up Furies of Calderon as kinda a warm fuzzy coming home (haven't read it in 2 years).

My reading meandered and I finished:
and 3 Megan Hart novels. Out of the 3, I really thought Switch was beautiful.

The Cathy Trilogy is a hoot! Book 3 is amazing! Anything I griped about in book 2 was totally put to rest in book 3. I really enjoyed reading that trilogy and I hope more interactive novels are written.

Currently book reading Alloy of Law by Sanderson, audible listening to Rabbit, Run by Updike. Just finished (yesterday) Side Jobs by Butcher and listening to Ready Player One by Cline. (I joined the group after you guys all read it, and it looked cool. It was fun.) Empire State looks intriguing.

Almost finished with Reality 36: A Richards & Klein Novel and will follow up with something in the Warhammer 40k universe either The Word Bearers Omnibus or Eisenhorn and some indie authors

Yeah, I ended up starting Dark Days. I'm still planning on putting the last 2 books on hold after this one, but if they keep on being this damn good then I'll probably end up riding it out all the way to the end (for now anyway).

Still in Phoenix Rising, and a few random graphic novels i recently got, The Amazing Screw-on Head and Other Curious Objects,then going to get started on Locke and Key, Vol. 1: Welcome to Lovecraft

I finished Neverwhere a couple days ago and just started Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom. After that I want to get through A Game of Thrones before the Feb pick.

Going to retry Catch-22. Reading a classic novel shouldn't be this difficult.

Finished The Desert of Souls (excellent!) and started a novella, Living With The Dead by Darrell Schweitzer.

Finally got back into 11/22/63. Gonna try out the audio book of Blood Oath during a long drive the week after next.

I finished reading the first Dunk and Egg tale, The Hedge Knight the other day and started reading the second, The Sworn Sword. I'm also still listening to Inheritance. In typical Paolini style, he uses a lot of words and doesn't add value in terms of revealing character details we don't already know or moving the plot (at least, so far).

Just finished Grave Secret, now looking to plow through the rest of Leviathan (which seems to be going quickly, thank goodness). Still chipping away at Rule 34 and just started listening to The Iron Duke on audiobook. I don't think I can let myself move on to Empire State until I have knocked a few things off my plate. =/

Got through Warp Speed, then got my kindle back yesterday so I was able to finish up Elven Star and Furies of Calderon. So I am heading into Fire Sea and Academ's Fury.

And I am trying so hard with my audio book of 11/22/63 I just don't think audio books are for me.

I enjoyed that book! A nice poetic fantasy. Reminded me of the tv show Pushing Daisies, in atmosphere and style. It was nice to see a romantic fantasy without swords, fireball, and sex every 3 pages. Made for a nice break.

Just finished The Burning Sky, which was a disappointment. Am reading The Sparrow now and liking it much better.

I'm considering re-reading something once I finish that, since I've been so busy with work and stuff and feel like I need a mental break. It'll probably be either The Gone Away World or The Passage.

Re-reading Temporary Duty by Ric Locke. I read it when it first came out last year but now a lot of others are reading it so i decided to give it another go. Tried to start Pattern Recognition but just couldn't get into it.

I finished The German today and between that and Enter, Night I don't want to read about any more terrifyingly claustrophobic and bigoted small North American for a good long while. They're giving my an ulcer.

I think I'll take a mental break and read The Last Colony next.

I thought The Night Circus was beautiful. I gave it 4 or 5 stars.

Im still finishing up reads from last month on audio and Kindle, but the first book I've started this month is Spin in print.

Busy weekend -- finished Living With The Dead, then tore through Sky Pirates byWilliam King (his latest ebook) and am now just about to wrap up The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack and start The Curious Case of the Clockwork Man.

Just finished Ender's Game , quick and fun read ;)

I think you should read Children of God immediately afterwards. I was so intent on it I think I picked it up and started reading the same day I finished The Sparrow.

Being almost completely new to the laser part of this, I'm trying to catch up with some Sci Fi. Finished To Your Scattered Bodies Go a couple of days ago.
And when I started the first pages of Lev Grossman's The Magicians I found myself hooked... so back to sword, once again. :)

Planning to read the Eisenhorn Omnibus, Giant Thief and Incursion for now.
