Tinea (pist) This folder is for recommended reading lists, divided up by subject. If you want to learn more about a specific anarchist theory, praxis, movement, or whathaveyou, you can use this folder to pick the brains of group members.

Guidelines:
1. Post the topic in the subject line.
(ex: "Situationist Theory" or "Seattle WTO" or "Deconstructing white privilege")
2. Explain what kind of books or info you're looking for or post a list of suggested readings on that topic in the comment box.
3. Use the thread to reply with suggested books, linked articles, zines, etc. etc. It is of course more helpful if you add a little description of your recommendations. If you have more questions about this topic, ask them within the thread or start a more specific topic.

Libcom has a good collection of recommended reading lists.

It would be good to take from some of the core readings from there.

Francois Tremblay These "recommended reading lists" have a pretty strong bias. The science section is filled with Gould, and not a single Dawkins? Give me a fucking break. The Economics guide is pretty much filled with Marxist stuff, which is fine but not nearly exhaustive.

These lists are just one person's opinion, and do not nearly cover everything that's worthwhile.
