(view spoiler)[Initially, I was unaware that this story had LGBTQ themes, but knowing that he's set to break up with Adam makes me more comfortable. The plot has been masterfully crafted thus far, and the prologue was captivating, leaving me genuinely excited for what comes next. (hide spoiler)]

Toxic relationships are definitely something I want to read less of--gay, straight, or otherwise. I'm glad it was obvious from the beginning that it wasn't going to last because I find it hard to root for someone who doesn't want to get out of the toxicity.
