Tr1sha | 321 comments For each letter of the alphabet, read a classic book with a character whose first name, surname or job title starts with the letter. For example, in Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, the character Joe Gargery could used for one of
J - first name Joe
G - surname Gargery
B - job title Blacksmith

Complete the template with the book title & author, date finished & character details.

Good question! But most groups are flexible about the most difficult letters X & Z - they can be in a word, not necessarily at its beginning. So you could use a name like Alex or Alexander. (When you need locations with X, Oxford is useful!) For Z, an obvious choice is Elizabeth, Lizzie, etc.

I’m a long way behind in this challenge, I haven’t read many classics recently but will catch up eventually!
