Compelling plot, excellent characterization, unique characters
Good pacing, solid procedural details with some twists

Finished In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash by Jean Shepherd. This is a collection of interconnected short stories and the basis for the movie A Christmas Story.” Loved it!

I have come to enjoy these characters a lot, but the plot and pacing in this installment felt weaker. I had a lot of gripes but ended up giving it 3* overall.
