I have mine but how do I transfer it too my kindle app?

Is the kindle app on a phone? Can you email a book to the app? or transfer the file to the phone and then open it with the app? Sorry, I'm not good with phones.

I think with the ipad, you can access it from your email by downloading the book to the ipad, and then opening it with a kindle app.

Does anybody else know about using mobi files on a ipad?

You can send the mobi file directly to your kindle if you know your kindle email address. Log into your amazon account, go to manage my devices, and settings and scroll down. Your kindle email address will be @kindle.com. Just email the file I sent to that address and it will load automatically. Sorry for any inconvenience. I'm in Australia at the moment and it keeps kicking me out of my Amazon account and redirecting me to Australia Amazon, hence why I couldn't send gift copies. If anyone is still having issues, post here and I'll contact Amazon to see what they can do.
