What are your top five picks for the 2015 Newbery?

So my top picks keep changing, because I keep reading and re-reading great books, but at this moment here are my top five:

I am halfway through The Madman of Piney Woods and am trying to get my hands on The Fourteenth Goldfish.

I agree that there were so many wonderful books this year! It's been really hard to pick. I have not reread any titles, because I just want to keep reading others from 2014 cycle.

Did not get to all the books I thought might have Newbery potential, including Revolution, Madman of Piney Woods, The Riverman....

.....but a big thank you to the moderator and the participants in this group for prompting me to read a lot of wonderful (and some not-so-wonderful) books.

I still haven't read The Family Romanov yet. #4 and #5 are probably long shots because they are not traditional Newbery winners, but I love both books!
