Kim welcome! If you click on Bookshelf on the right hand side of any page here in our group, it'll take you to the most comprehensive list of Aussie authors we have. Also our top 10 Aussie authors for this year might help you - /topic/show/...

When you have your list chosen, I'll link you up for the challenge. Can you make sure you link title, author and cover pics too please? Thanks! Have fun choosing, and if you need more help, look through other lists for ideas :)

Sorry Brenda, I decided to pull out of this one about half an hour after entering it. Don't want to over-commit!

Niamh | 494 comments Yeah, that would be weird from your end. I thought I'd managed to beat you, but you're so active on this site I was being over-optimistic :)

Thanks Brenda, but perhaps you can help me out with something else - how do you get the links to the book/author/cover picture as I have never found out?!

In your comment box, click on "add book/author" in the top right hand corner. Then follow the prompts :) You can change it over at the bottom from "link" to "cover" and at the top from "book" to "author". Have a play with it - it's easy once you've got the hang of it! Good luck :)

Kerrie, Marian Keyes is an Irish novelist according to her profile. Victoria Connelly also doesn't appear to be Australian. Tim Anderson "lives in Brooklyn" and Chuck Grossart lives "outside Omaha, Nebraska".

So I'm sorry, but you'll have to change these particular choices as it's to be Aussie authors only :)

message 231: by Jacm (new)

Jacm | 261 comments Finished The Good People by Hannah Kent. Unfortunately I have to admit I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected. I think I was waiting for a bit more momentum & action to build. It could also be because I listened to the audiobook & although the narrator had a lovely Irish lilt, her voice was quiet calm so didn't give a strong sense of urgency 2.5 ★.
