This is the reporting thread for the October 2016 challenge, "Criss Cross"

When you have completed your book, please tell us the title and provide a link to it. Then score it according to the criteria below:

I read All the Way to Heaven by Becky Doughty
I enjoyed this book immensely! I wanted to read a book in a genre that I've never read before. So I picked CHRISTIAN. I'm not a religious person (or against religion, I just wasn't raised in a house that went to a church) so I was wondering how religious a book in the Christian genre would be, turned out it wasn't much different than reading any other romantic light hearted book.
It was a very wonderfully written book! Amazing descriptions of Italy that made me think I was right there with Ani. I will definitely read more books from this author!

I read A Gentleman in Moscow for the genre "Gothic" (It is not a Gothic book). I have a Gothic book on hold at the library, but am number 4, so this book will have to do - hopefully I will get to read the book in October. :)

I read Cut to the Bone for the "crime" genre. It is a crime book as it concentrates on the crime the killer had done. I loved the book and the killer was very creepy.

Janice, I need a ruling. Oh, actually you read the book, right? The main character has a dog but only for a short while, does that count?
And the book follows the MC's life, so in the last few chapters she's over 60 but in most of the book she's not. Points or no points? :)
