Wild Things: YA Grown-Up discussion

I've just finished Boxers. Does anyone know the history of the Boxer rebellion? I feel like this story focused on the story of Little Bao and not as much on this history of the rebellion. I don't feel like I've learned as much history as I might have hoped from this book.

The library had Saints in today, so I figured I should read that, too, while Boxers was fresh. Saints rounds out the story so well! I am now viewing these books not as a history lesson like I originally thought, but as a discourse on religion. Saints made these books so much more interesting, much more food for thought. Read them both!
