25.6 - Elizabeth B's Task: Sochi 2014 - Hot. Cool. Yours.

The XXII Olympic Winter Games are scheduled to take place 7 to 23 February 2014, in Sochi, Russia

Read 2 books

Each book should be set for at least 50% of the book in one of the countries participating at the Winter Olympics. (see post 2 for countries as the list in the link is subject to change)

~You may not choose a book set in the country you are currently living in.

~You must select countries from 2 different continents. Use this list to determine continents: i.e. Russia = Europe, Uzbekistan = Asia, etc.

Required: Include the name of the country where you’re currently living when you post.
Identify the book's setting if it is not obvious in the book's GR description

Julie If anyone is having trouble finding books that fit, you can search Listopia by just typing in the name of the country. I found a lot that would fit the task that way!

At least 50% of the book should be set in the country you're going to use it for.

Dee (austhokie) | 8872 comments i think someone went in and edited that...according to stuff I can find only 35 countries have qualified - not the 80 some listed

Vicky (librovert) | 240 comments It's not finalized yet, 35 is awfully low. The Vancouver games in 2010 had 82 nations participate.
