Now I have to come up with something "brilliant"! (My library can't get 2 of the titles from my example. Bad Library *swat nose*.)

As for mine, they weren't as difficult to put together as I thought they'd be. I won a firstreads copy of Lethal Legacy and I recently ordered Murder is Binding (rare for me to pay full price for a book, really rare). And I found the Case of the Missing Books book online recently for $1.99. Happened to pick up several Murder She Wrote books from the library and I have a few, so putting that set together wasn't hard.
Sherlock Holmes too a bit more work. I found the Holmes on the Range for $1.99 online and it arrived in the mail today (along with the missing books book above). I have the complete works of Sherlock Holmes but they're too long to read for this. lol But I have 4 audio books that I have 3 yet to listen to so added one for the original. I had to search for a third Holmes book and that's a YA one my library has and I'm a titanic history buff so it should be interesting. The book I REALLY wanted to add to it is OOP and nowhere to be found even online for sale. (I tried 8 sites). It's The Federation Holmes Casebook Number One a Baker's Dozen of Sherlock Holmes--Star Trek Parodies. I'm a ST fan so it would have been perfect but I couldn't find it anywhere online and library doesn't have it. My only option left is if, by chance, I can order it on interlibrary loan. (Will add it to the list if my library can find it).
I love cooking so the chefs books should be good. I found the quilt one at the library and have it checked out now. The Nora Roberts one I've been waiting to read. It's 2 books in 1 but the goal was for 3 books by different authors. The only other book I know of with a chef in it that's fiction is Legend, which will be a reread for me.

Just for fun, I checked my library. :O) I can't get it either.
(Ooo, did you see, CSI is doing Star Trek tomorrow?!)

Here is how she describes it, complete with a sample:
How about "Build Your Own Boxset"? (something I've done with movies that should translate to books): choose 3 or 4 titles (by different authors that are not part of a series) that relate by theme or by title (title your boxset and/or explain your reasoning).
Example (related by title):
(Un)Dressing Your Cowboy, one book at a time:
Blue Jeans, Tuesday Morrigan
Dark Roots and Cowboy Boots, Luann McLane
Scrooge Wore Spurs, Janet Daily
Under This Cowboy's Hat, Rob Knight
Now for some ground rules:
1. There should be a minimum of 3 books in your boxed set. They should not belong in the same series or written by the same author.
2. There is no time limit for this and you can complete as many as you can depending on your creativity. However, although cross-challenged titles are fine, the books must have not been read before you post your entry.
3. Unlike other challenges, before starting, you must post the complete list of books that will belong to your boxed set.
4. Be sure to include an explanation of your boxset's theme.
Have fun, ladies.
PS: Thanks again for the brilliant idea, Melody.
