Then the government asks them to migrate since they want a dam to be built there.
The proposed dam is to provide drinking water to the city of Madurai and nearby towns. Its going to improve their life's and kill the life's of the village folks who have spent all their hard work in the land.
Providing a farmer an alternative land or money is not the same as his own land....more
