We have two point of views, Lilee and Rose. Rose run safe Harbor Village And is working through some past hers of her own and Lilee entering the scene, they both help each other! Excellent beach read! Excellent summary read! The narration was perfect and would not change a thing.

First of all, I have to say that at least one of my stars of this rating is purely for the narrator! She was fabulous! She was narrating perfectly, no worries about getting your point of views mixed up, able to listen at my normal speed with no issues, And I am definitely going to be looking for more books narrated by her!
So this is a new author for me and I must say I am impressed! This revenge thriller will definitely keep you guessing, and even though it didn’t end how I thought it would, it was an excellent ending!!
So our main two characters are Kim who is a waitress at a country club type place. Who has herself in a bit of a financial situation, she is presented with a way out but at what cost. The other main character is PJ or Poppy Jade, who is a young debutant type with a revenge plan and murder book to match. I’ve not quite read anything like the story before and it definitely was interesting.
I definitely recommend!!!

It’s an overwhelming amount of information to describe scenes that for me by the time I finish reading them I have forgot even what we are describing.
The names, he uses names that are very similar or up to four words for one person’s name, which is very hard to follow. I went back-and-forth on pages, trying to make sure I was keeping characters straight.
The cat man, again I cannot really explain to you how something that involves pages of description is still not truly visible for me in my head. It did not scare me. It was not creepy. I just don’t feel that. This book was a good fit for me.

Writer crushed it on this one! You are totally immersed in the story and feel like you are apart of it or at least you want to be!! Feel like I know Katie, Hutch and Rue and could fit in their story quite nicely! You are left hoping for what they hope for, wanting what they want, it’s magic! Sweet heart warming story with some mild romance and none of the unnecessary smut. Such a powerful way to view yourself as a woman, your body and such healing in her journey of loving herself.

You totally feel for the characters as they are going though the deception.
Scary that this crazy twisted demented storyline is not far from done real life situations and that’s part of what makes it so good!!

Only issues: little blurb about a penis pocket rub that was just weird, conversation with a child about gender dysmorphia and just not necessary and should have been left out in my opinion.

I’ve never heard of the Meadow Massacre and so glad the author wrote this based on true events book! The parts at the end that explain more of the history behind it were fascinating.
Three women connected by an event and their parts of the tale are told beautifully, woven together so well and will break your heart at times. Not a time period or part of history that I knew anything about and you learn a lot without it feeling like information is being crammed at you. Truly written so well.

Great character development. Story kept me engaged and wanting to know more. Did figure out two of the twists but not until right before. Authors note was lengthy but gave description of what lead to the writing and creation of this very imaginative plot.

I was drawn in, characters have likeable things but yet will leave you going why are they doing THAT? Keeps ya guessing, don’t see tons of twists coming and I’ve never read anything quite like this book! Definitely worth a read and adding more from this author to my list of books I want to read!

Mina is a newly graduated. Child psychologist asked by a journalist to come and investigate Alice a 14-year-old girl who they cannot seem to figure out exactly what is going on with her. Is it a hoax? Is she possessed? Is she just deeply disturbed?
Mina does a great job investigating the child, the scenario and of course the surroundings.
I did not find this work to be confusing or hard to follow. I enjoyed the story. Did it have me thinking about it when I wasn’t reading? No, not really. What I recommend this to everyone? No but definitely if you are interested in The witch or supernatural scene. It had an underlying mystery that was well written as well.
