When Owen and Kayleigh meet on a dating app, It initially feels like a match made in heaven to Kayleigh. Both of them have a troubled past & it doesn’t take long for their situation to spiral out of control. Both of these characters think they are being stalked by the other & I can’t tell you how many times I thought I had it figured out, yet I was wrong each and every time.
In addition to the very unique storyline, it touches on some sensitive topics such as mental illness and paranoia. It also shows how previous traumas can shape your outlook on situations you may encounter & cause you to see things that simply aren’t there. Don’t even bother reading the synopsis as it still can’t prepare you for how twisted the story goes and how deep everyone’s secrets & deception lies. Daryl is at a bar when he is approached by Jeff with a proposition. In so many words, “I need you to seduce my wife.” Daryl needs the money to pay for his mom’s medical care, so desperation makes him agree. Considering he is an escort by trade, it’s not completely out of his norm, but it is unusual to be approached by someone’s husband. All those skeptical he goes along with it and this love triangle gets very dangerous.
Definitely recommend this domestic thriller, and it was titled perfectly as every single character definitely had their beautiful lies. Excited for books 2 & 3!.

This is exactly what happens to Carrie in this wild ride. The author does a great job of building suspense as you navigate through the chapters and the story continues to unfold. You will truly not know who to trust, as every single character has their own secrets that they were harboring. I really enjoyed the narration in the audiobook, Will Damron did a great job with the narration.

Overall, a solid read that I think romance readers that enjoy a hint of mystery will enjoy, as well as those that like reality TV. This couple couldn’t grieve properly as they, dove head first into the investigation all while keep their own secrets from each other.
Overall a solid read that was raw, intense & emotional. Any story where teens were taken so brutally will tug at your heartstrings & there was a valuable lesson about the power of forgiveness. The story did have a slight paranormal touch to it, but it was not an overall paranormal story. Recommend for those that can handle this sensitive topic.

The characters in these stories were not to be toyed with, and some of the antagonists had to learn the hard way. The level of vengeance, retaliation and “get back” will keep you enthralled at the turn of every page. There were several deep sighs, hand over mouth, omg moments as we never knew exactly where Keira N. James was heading, in each conclusion.
This is a highly recommend read for those who enjoy Urban Romance that’s heavy on the thrills and chills. You will be absolutely hooked from the first story!

Overall, a great thriller that makes me want to dive more into Nolon & Lauren’s catalogue. This story was suspenseful, intriguing, and held my attention throughout the entire story.
