So first let me start by saying....I hate the Darkling! I know this makes for a very unpopular opinion, though I'm having a very hard time understanding why. Sure he's corrupted and "misunderstood" but I just don't see any redeeming qualities. Yeah sure he's hot, I get it, but so is Mal and Nikolai and they aren't sadistic and cruel. So I am not team Darkling. Phew! Glad I got that off my chest.

I am really not good at writing long, thoughtful reviews, but I really enjoyed this series. The characters were interesting, although a lot of the time i felt liking more the side characters than the main ones. I mean i just need more Nikolai lol. He was the main reason i now ordered the king of scars ;P
