I like my books like I like my men. Thick, adventurous, and slightly confusing. Okay, not really. I think that this last book was another roller coaster ride. My favorite kinds of reads are the ones I just keep finding time to read. With this one I set my font on huge and would lay it down so I could see it as I cleaned or in between putting on my make up.

Absolutely amazing! I loved this series immediately and even at it's end(?), I can't get enough. KMM's characters grab hold of your attention and emotions and never let loose. I was mesmerized by not only Mac and Barron's complicated relationship. But also Moning's unique take on the Fae realm. She has surprises with shocking revelations and unheard of possibilities in a fantasy world many have tried to capture. Unbelievable and yet terrifyingly realistic. Shelves: favorites

After everything that happened to Mac and Barrons and all the crap they went through this was a good ending. :)

Questions were answered, and so much was sorted out for everyone. I'm glad things ended up the way they did for Mac and Barrons.

I'm still a bit sad over what happened with Dani, but I feel that would be sorted out over time.

I can't believe that I am finished the series. I really looked forward to each book and am a bit disappointed that there isn't another one to pick up and read. LOL! ...more
