I read this for the first time back in 2009 (as part of an anthology). Yes, around six yeas ago. But I didn't review it, and for sure I couldn't remember what the story was all about (I had BAD memory, okay *lol*). When I saw that this re-released issue offered FREE on Amazon (for limited time), I decided to grab it. Then I re-read it today, on my train commute. 4.5 stars because I very much would have liked to read more about Vic and Sean, and their lives in the armed forces since they last saw each other, but a very good H/C action novella, nonetheless.
great short story. hot military heroes with a bit of history. flashes back in time give the reader their past while the current story unfolds. love all this authors work.
Loved it. Would like to see more from these characters.
I loved it!!! The plot, the action and the bond between Vic and Sean. Though it didn’t read like a Josh Lanyon story, it was still great nonetheless.
Very nice short story.
