That's a pretty big question Akhil asked. I had plenty of ideas on avenues he should pursue, but what I think is most important is know what you like, and don't like, to do. Ask yourself where you want to be and find out from others what they think your strengths and weaknesses are. It's a lot of work, but isn't figuring out what you want to do with your life worth it?

Sam's 'Never Eat Alone' story takes a twist and shows how, as a student, he first needed to be helped before he could help, but that the principles of 'Never Eat Alone' were valuable all along his journey.

I still remember the day when Keith came to speak at the University of Pennsylvania. When the talk was about to begin, I saw Keith standing there and I began to think, what question would be a good one to ask “the most connected person in the US”? I did not even have a question when I approached him, but suddenly one question fell into my mind. “How do you balance the quantity versus the quality of your relationships?”

A few years ago a friendly chap came up to me after my speech at the Harvard Business School reunion.
