I am currently working on the second book in my William of Alamore series!

Audiobooks! I listen to writers with characters I am inspired by, descriptions I enjoy, plots that twist and turn, and it always makes me eager to write again. Whether or not the books are in my genre, it doesn't matter. Listening to some one else's book makes me want mine to come to life.

Write, even when the story is slow, push forward to finish your work. Don't get so caught in editing the first chapter that you never make it to the end of the story. Write it all out and worry about cleaning it up later.

My most recent published work (and my only thus far) came from a series I wrote between twelve and seventeen that I never published. The story was rough and needed work for the first few books but it inspired plot twists and changes with characters I already knew.
When I was 12 and started the series, I was actually inspired by wanting to write a script. My family had just gotten horses, my father is a medieval history major, and I have always loved the dark ages. It quickly flew out of my hands, though, and beyond what I ever could have imagined the book would become.

Having the chance to bring characters to life and hear from my readers as to what they think of them. I've had people reach out when they've gotten to plot twists of my books, beg for details of the sequel, and tell me how much they love a character for some personality trait or another.

This is tricky, with all the amazing places captured in book pages. Most likely I would attend Hogwarts, if that counts (though the wizarding world is truly a hidden part of our normal world.)
If that doesn't count, than perhaps Narnia.
