Nat Cassidy is easily an author I'll pick up every book of.

I'm not sure that any of his work will ever beat Nestlings in my heart because I was so floored by that experience, but the style and creativity of his horror are exactly what I want in a book. This book took me around wild turns, I couldn't guess what what happening next, and was deeply introspective. Again, exactly what I want in a novel! If you're looking for something that touches complicated (and fearful) relationships to fathers, grief, fear, and what to do with a little boy who can imagine anything to life (for better or worse), this is worth picking up.
