If you’ve ever known a group of writers in their 20s, Joan and Roberto clocked them. I really enjoyed this, and I can see how it’s not for everyone. "

"My perception of this book seems to be quite different then what most have gotten. But my understanding is that this books is a story that very openly and honestly critiques the main character and her family.
It being from Joan’s point of view can throw the reader off. But if you really engage you get a first hand view of how out of touch Joan is.

I think it’s a really entertaining and fun critique of conservatism as our country was ripe for trumpism.

This writer deserves much more credit. "
