OH MY GOD I ATE THIS BOOK UP without even acknowledge it. i was completly absorbed by it and in love with it.

it gives me soo much caraval vibes but in an adult way with more blood, gothic vibes and dark romance. everything was giving! the plot, the chemistry and the tension between this two aaaaaa, omg blackwall ! i'm sooo dawn bad for him.

“you are the only thing that’s ever made me feel even a semblance of hope in this eternity of hell. The dream I’ve been looking for—the one to wake me up. The thought of wasting another second when I will lose your forever in only three days has ruined me. You are the closest thing I will ever get to experiencing heaven, and I’m not ready to let it go.”

i def loved ophelia and her character! i admire her for the resilience and transformation, she def change a lot and for the good, finding hershelf and discover new part of her! she got her adventure for sure. IT'S A BREATHE OF FRESH AIR for the fantasy genre (not saying that she is the one but i do love a great female lead in a fantasy)

And then there’s Blackwell our enigmatic charming beautilf and amazing ghost with a sharp tongue and always ready for an irresistible flirtation! Every time he spoke, he had me grinning like an idiot; his charm was utterly disarming in the best way possible. Honestly, I never thought I'd end up developing a crush on a ghost, yet here I am, embracing it wholeheartedly. AND THE PLOT TWIST AT THE END OH MY GOD. never expect that! the last 30ish pages i guess are pure insanity and i love them sooo much!

The romance is formed by perfect balance with its electric chemistry and sooo much tension, e Their banter and shared sense of humor were chef kiss! also the spicy scene were fabs! maybe a little dark for me but in the vibes of the book their perfect.

But this book isn’t just about swoon-worthy romance; the plot itself is captivating from start to finish. I couldn’t tear myself away. I’ll admit, I’m an absolute fan for stories involving trials and challenges when they’re done well, these trials were written soo damn good. Each moment felt intentional and vivid, keeping the suspense high and my enthusiasm even higher.

In the end, I would recommend it to anyone seeking an engaging spicy romance, humor, and gripping storytelling with a little touch of dark but you don't have to worry about it cause i do not read or love a dark romance purely so if you are like me dw you can read that and prob you'll love it. Seriously, you’re in for one hell of a ride!
