3.5 stars! This was a fun summer read but more so a classic rom com which is the only reason I wouldn’t rate it higher. (Like not crazy memorable). I really liked the two main characters (although Connor did frustrate me sometimes 😅). I also liked the angle the age gap romance took! I like that Connor was super mindful of the age gap and how that would impact their relationship.
Also great summer vibes w the setting being a wedding in Italy!! Overall a fun light read and loved the chemistry between the main characters

fun & quick read! Very light read but great wholesome spooky vibes - there's ghosts, graveyards, secret passageways, a paranormal TV show, & more! I think I would've rated it higher if I read it when I was younger (it's middle grade!) or it's the perfect quick light spooky season read

I really enjoyed following Ruby and seeing her life change & grow in this book! I do wish there was a little more romance and that the book moved faster but other than that, an enjoyable read.

3.5 stars! I enjoyed this book wayyy more than I thought! This is a very character-focused book, and typically, I'm more of a high-stakes plot kind of girl. But I loved that the characters felt sooo real, layered, and complex. This would be such a great book to read in a book club because there's so much to unpack and discuss.
I would LOVE to hear people's opinions on the different characters and themes in the book, like motherhood, secrets, etc.
Also going to start the tv show tonight!!
Also also - this book is making me think I should give literary fiction & character-focused books another chance🤔🤔🤔
