-The whole unveiling the mystery at the end was fun, I don't really read mystery so it was fun to guess what was going on and it all tying together was so satasfying to listen to.

- I liked the puzzles in this book, honestly since i listened to it as an audiobook while doing chores for a week and a bit I don't remember much but I do remember being entertained

-Xander is still the best Hawthorne by far and him and Max need there own book. I can feel it in the air that they are going to get together and while i dislike Max, Xander gets what Xander wants

-The whole unveiling the mystery at the end was fun, I don't really read mystery so it was fun to guess what was going on and it all tying together was so satasfying to listen to.

-I'm also very excited for the next book so will get on top of that asap!

Also, he turned up after a 1/3d of the book and I am mad about that because we need as much Baz as we can get.

I mean he somehow makes staring at someone sleep adorable and not at all creepy (STEPHANIE MEYER TAKE NOTES) Also his name is Basil? Ngl I love that and I picture him smelling like Basil. Is that creepy?

Simon/Harry was.........annoying? He really pissed me off sometimes I mean I'm only here for Baz so what else can you expect from me? He was such a Harry, I mean what can you expect this IS a Drarry fanfic. But I'm not complaining.

I loved how this book was not your typical romance but it was more about each character healing because of the other and how experiences can shape you. The trauma that they both had just made this book so real and heartbreaking. No but for real I was ugly crying last night for a full 10 minutes.

And I hated it so much I decided to share it with the world.

I hate the characters names so much that I have given them new ones:

Bella: Little Miss Dumb: Because well apparently someone who wants you for your blood is attractive? Hmnh, I don’t think so.

Everyone I have ever met is ALWAYS team Mr Light Bulb which I don't get because he is literally freezing and wants so suck your blood? I am team Jacob because well, HE IS WARM AND DOESN'T WANT TO KILL ME?!!!!

AND THEN THIS HAPPENS:

AND THEN WE HAVE THE BASEBALL GAME, WHERE ANOTHER VAMPIRE LOVES THE SMELL OF HER BLOOD. HOW MANY PEOPLE LIKE HER? OH WAIT I FORGOT ‘SHE IS NOT LIKE OTHER GIRLS’. SHE’S SPESHUL. HE BLOOD ATTRACTS SPARKLING VAMPIRES.

AND THEN BECAUSE OF SO CALLED ‘RELATIONSHIP WITH EDWARD SHE CUT ALL OF HERE FRIENDS AND HER DAD OUT OF HER LIFE ALL FOR A BOY WHO WANTS TO KILL HER?!!!!!??!?!?

AND DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE AGE GAP. THAT IS ILLEGAL PEOPLE. ILLEGAL. I REPEAT. ILLEGAL


And then not even halfway through the book we get…. “You are my life now.” Like wow, just a bit quick don't ya think? Oh wait I forgot Miss Dumb has no BRAIN CELLS.

AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT SHE HAS AS MUCH PERSONALITY AND EMOTION AS THE DUST UNDER MY BED.

Mr Light Bulb:
I don’t think anyone realised that LIGHT BULB IS A STALKER. THAT IS BAD BEHAVIOUR WATCHING SOMEONE SLEEP. STALKERISH!!! Also how THE HELL did MISS DUMB still look attractive while she was still asleep?! Because if a boy *shudders* watching me sleep I would make them run away by my appearance.

Fuck sorry i don’t know why that keeps happening. Anyways carrying on. Katniss Mare decides that the government is corrupt and so rebels.

But the thing is that the new guys that was supposed to be hot was just plain boring. You know what sucks even more? He was cold and brooding and ‘hated everyone but you’ and he was hot. He was a prince and had loved Mare forever. But you know what?

I did not feel an ounce of attraction to this man and it was so disappointing.

But one thing that I loved was finding out the Silvers magic powers. I don’t know why but I find it just so fascinating when thre is a book where people have such different powers and I can see how they use them.

And for everyone on booktok telling me that you will NEVER see that plot twist coming YALL MUST NOT HAVE EYES. You have to be bllind to not have seen that coming. Cmon, that entire ‘He is his mothers son’ when the mother is a literal bitch. Alsoooo the entire ‘anyone can betray anyone’ bullshit. COME ON that was so obvious I guessed straight away.

And for the rest of the book I dont even know it was all a mess, the more i think about it the more i dislike it.

I did really like Juilian though he was really cool and fascinating. OH!! LUCAS MY BABY I LOVED HIM HE WAS ACTUALLY SO AMAZING!!

I'm sure that my thoughts on this book will slowly decline the more that I think about it and as time goes on and I will 100% be sure to tell you

This man has the best banter with Bryce and he was so flirty ahhh he's like the f-boy character that you all love.

❥ Bryce
No just no please Mass. I cannot with this whole copy and paste thing.

In every. single. book she sprinkles her magic fair dust and BOOM

I'm so DONE with this girl she died at the start of the first book and we are STILL talking about her. If she is not coming back to life then what is the point of basing the plot of the book around her. Ans she was such a snake too. Bryce was supposedly her BEST FRIEND but she kept all of this information from her. My best friend knows EVERYTHING about me.

❥ Ithan
I feel so so bad for this kid. He was in love with Bryce for the entire book and then when Bryce and Hunt did the devil's tango and he could hear it all. Talk about awkward!! I honestly didn't even know why he was in the book for the first half of the book but then when he moved in with Ruhn, Dec and Flynn. Then I think he got a personality and I love them all together their friendship was fantastic.

❥ Cormac
This character was so useless that I didn't even know why he was there for half the book. Good on you SJM for killing him off.

❥ Found family
Found family is one of my favourite tropes and this book did disappoint? I felt like it was just all guys and then Bryce. And everyone has a crush on her. Tharion kissed her once WHEN SHE WAS MATED AND NO ONE BATTED AN EYE. And Ithan has a crush on her (but I think he's gonna get with that wolf girl) I just thought that maybe there could have been another girl in the group because that would b so much better you know?

❥ Bryce and Hunt

These twos romance was as dry as the desert. I hated it so much, and their smut was horrible like listen to this:

"You state like gods-damn paradise" he growled, pulled back enough for her to note her wetness in his mouth, his chin.

and on a different smut scene, I nearly fell asleep. Mass really lacked on her smut this time. I am extremely disappointed.

This man was my favourite character in this book. He is the only non-toxic male character that Mass has ever written. And he was 100% the hottest character with all his piercings and tats and when he ate pu$$y like a champ

This man has the best banter with Bryce and he was so flirty ahhh he's like the f-boy character that you all love.

❥ Bryce
No just no please Mass. I cannot with this whole copy and paste thing.

Bryce was supposedly her BEST FRIEND but she kept all of this information from her. My best friend knows EVERYTHING about me.

❥ Ithan
I feel so so bad for this kid. He was in love with Bryce for the entire book and then when Bryce and Hunt did the devil's tango and he could hear it all. Talk about awkward!! I honestly didn't even know why he was in the book for the first half of the book but then when he moved in with Ruhn, Dec and Flynn. Then I think he got a personality and I love them all together their friendship was fantastic.

❥ Cormac
This character was so useless that I didn't even know why he was there for half the book. Good on you SJM for killing him off.

❥ Found family
Found family is one of my favourite tropes and this book did disappoint? I felt like it was just all guys and then Bryce. And everyone has a crush on her. Tharion kissed her once WHEN SHE WAS MATED AND NO ONE BATTED AN EYE. And Ithan has a crush on her (but I think he's gonna get with that wolf girl) I just thought that maybe there could have been another girl in the group because that would b so much better you know?

❥ Bryce and Hunt

These twos romance was as dry as the desert. I hated it so much, and their smut was horrible like listen to this:

You know, you can tell that this book was written in 2013, it just has that feel, and how boring it was.

There is just so much wrong with this book

Lets start off with how bad of a main character Gwen is. Honestly, I have never read about a more annoying character, and ive read some bloody annoying characters. All she does is whine about how a guy she meet a week ago doesnt love her.

Yup, totally makes sooo much sense because someone could totally fall in love with someone in a week, let alone HER.

And talking about that talk about freaking unrealistic. Shes having temper tantrums over a guy talking talking to other girls. Like gurl you've KNOWN him for a WEEK. Calm the fuck down. Its not that deep. Talk about over reacting.

And the thing is that the boy she is obsessing over is 19. When she is 16. I smell something illegal going on. AND the fact that somehow they must be related. See Gwens parents are Lucy and Paul DE VILLIER right. And the boy she is obsessed with is Gideon DE VILLIERS. Soo the de villiers are one big family right, so somehow Paul and and Gideon are related and so that means that somehow Gwen and Gideon are related and they are in love? Sounds illegal once again.

Don't you just love it.

Also, the entire time they were going on about how since time travel is in the past events have already happened but the people in the present will travel back in time and make that true because in the past they have already done whatever but they will travel back in the future to do that, so its pretty confusing.

Anyways onto the point, this rule had been doing pretty well UNTIL fucking Gwen decided she would give her ghost frind in the past a vaccine to make sure he would not die. But the thing is if she went into the past he shouldent exist in the present right because he didnt die of small pox and didnt become a ghost?

i know its a bit of a brain twister but like if the author has been writing about this surely she should be able to figure it out right?

ANDDDD, i know im going on but i have to say this, Gideon is the worst book guy ever. What the actual hell. Im so done with him.

For under one roof it was the fact that the smut scene was awkard and that Liam did not get good demi representation (i didnt even realise that he was demi) but im not an expert on that so someone else has got to tell me if that was good demi representation.

In stuck with you, the amout of times that Sadie told us that Eric looked like Chris Hemsworth and how viking like he looked like really irked me. Like WE GET IT he looks like a norse god ffs

And this one, would have been good okay if he didn't compare her fucking boobies to fucking hills that is not hot at all, such a turn off

And im pissed about it because i love reading about women in stem and really anything to do with stem, science, maths and engineering. And these were all trash. I think that Ali Hazelwood needs to stay away from novellas because they are to short. Stick to the longer books babes, ill read and hopefully enjoy them. You need time to develop the story.

Alsoooo, take a step back from writting every book like its going to end up on wattpad. Listen, I enjoy reading about characters that love the same things i do. But some of the stuff and the smut scenes in these books really really remind me of wattpad and not in a good way.

But i will say that I will be reading her next book because it looks interesting, and because the fact that the guys name is Levi. It BETTER not disapont miss Hazelwood, im counting on you.

Like, I don't care how many flavours of gelato you ate after she broke up with her ex boyfriend or how ashamed she was to eat a mango one.

Neither, do i care about the fact that her ex did not care a single bit about her. Or the half a page of very wattpady facts on worse things then being stuck on an elevator.

This book.........was okay, it was a book i will probably forget within the next three days.

It really pissed me off when Sadie kept going on about how BIG and NORSE Eric was. I counted about 8ish times she called him Corporate Thor. What kinda fucking name is that? I was so sick of that name AND how he was so NORSE GODLIKE and TALL and BIG he is like ugh stfu we get it.

Now, normally I would hate the miscommunication trope but for once in my life this book was okay. I would also fall to that conclusion if I were Sadie so you know what its all goods, ill let this one slide.

While this is also better than the first book, i would not be surprised to find this book to find this book written on wattpad by a 15 year old lonar who has no social life

First off we need to talk about Selwyn, aka the loml aka the literal definition of morally grey character and i hate everyone but you. Gosh DAMNNNN Let me inform you, if you are gonna read this book for anything, read it because of my dear Sel. Trust me I am doing you a favour.

I have mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand, the first 200 pages felt like they were dumping a bunch of information on me and I felt as if it was going one eye and out the other. My brain was being chucked into a blender, blended up and then put back into my brain. I didn't even realise they used aether until page 200.

But on the other hand the rest 290 pages I LOVED. I stayed up till one AM in the morning to finish it.

I like Bree, she is smart and quick thinking. But when she says this : " Nothing I can't handle. People think im gunning to be your squire and, I guess, using my feminine wiles to try and convince you to select me." I dislike her a little bit more.

Now Selwyn is my FAVOURITE character of the whole series, I don't know why I like him so much, I guess I just connected with him. I loved him so much that because I read a paragraph wrong I though that he died I started to cry (he didn't die). He is just so witty, funny and edgy. just my type. HE WAS SOFT WHEN BREE WAS AROUND. And whenever he was around I was grinning like an idiot.

I was excited for this book. The premise seamed cool: Girl doesn't believe in love, boy makes her believe. But to me it turned out to be a total shit show: So here is my rant basically.

So we start of with how she stops believing in love after ONE COUPLE, her parents split up. Like that is normal, some people are just not made for each other. So now she has a pessimistic view on love. Which it total bull because even if you break up, you have the happy memories you made together.

So she goes to give up all her romance books because 'they don't work their magic anymore' Now that line terrified me because I never wan't the magic of books to be taken away from me.

I was excited for this book. The premise seamed cool: Girl doesn't believe in love, boy makes her believe. But to me it turned out to be a total shit show: So here is my rant basically.

So we start of with how she stops believing in love after ONE COUPLE, her parents split up. Like that is normal, some people are just not made for each other. So now she has a pessimistic view on love. Which it total bull because even if you break up, you have the happy memories you made together.

So she goes to give up all her romance books because 'they don't work their magic anymore' Now that line terrified me because I never wan't the magic of books to be taken away from me.

And in 20 years or so time what if Instagram is the equivalent of Facebook? All the younger people will read this book and be like “who the fuck uses Instagram these days? What a grandma”

So the plot is just the same where some supernatural occurrence makes it so they have to work together and fall in love radyradyraaaa.
Although I do like the conflict idea and how it was executed.

We all know I have a thing for emotionally unavailable, morally gray men. Wait, we all do so I think I speak for all when I say that this man is the reason I loved this book so much. He is that stereotype where he is grumpy and shit but when you get to know him he is as cuddly as a big teddy bear. Do you hear me complaining?

I was exited to read this book, I love contemporary or literally anything with romance. I am a flexible reader but this book was not for me. The family had so many children with SIMILAR SOUNDING NAMES. I can normally keep up with a story but this one was so confusing. I got the basic premise that she was not allowed to talk to the neighbours because they were "loud and messy" which I think is a bit of a stupid reason to hate someone. And then there were like 6 siblings and I had no idea who was who because the names all sounded the same. The book was not bad per se but was so confusing that I could not keep up with the story.

I may go back to this story one day and try to reread, but I can't do that right now.
