This book is all about forgiveness, but the kind that our Christ was able to offer for those who were mocking him as he was suffering the kind of death they, themselves, deserved to die. When I recognized and was humbled by God's unconditional love for me, its magnitude overshadowed all the unfortunate circumstances of the past, including every individual who abused my kind and loving intentions toward them.

Hello everyone! My name is Caitlynn and I am from Western New York, just south of Buffalo. Currently, I'm attending school to be a Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) with an end goal of a Master's in Psychology: majoring in Clinical Counseling and minoring in Addictions Counseling. I am the zoning board secretary for our little town and a first time Christian author with plans to continue more literary works that focus on children. I originally started writing my memoir as a note for my children to show them that their parents are more than the boring people they know now. It was important for me to record my journey through faith for them to know it's not always easy, but very necessary. My mother's childhood was full of secrets. I don't want my children to ever feel like they can't tell and own their truths. The entire project for my children turned into a God Project when I heard God pointing me toward the same message repeatedly. I finally said aloud "okay God, I hear you." Since June 17th, I have sold/distributed over 130 copies, have made #1 on the New Release list for grief and death on Amazon and # 5 in Best Sellers (6/21/23), with a 5 star rating. This memoir is about my childhood as the daughter of a mentally-ill, alcohol and substance abuser and my adult life through grief and loss, but ultimately salvation and redemption. It is a story where, even when I was not a believer, God's grace was ever present, to remind us as adults, if He never left me then He will certainly never leave me now. "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Hebrews 13:6

The book is written in a way and manner that models Jesus' critique of his church therefore some controversial criticisms are expected. For whatever reason, it is mostly males who are fond of this book. Although I'm the author, I recommend. It's a bit deep however. Also, there will be a follow-up title to this book. Check it out!
