Kendra Hall is a fixer. As far as Mark Luciano is concerned, nothing in his life needs fixing—not him, and certainly not his business.

As part owner of Club Apocalypse, a resort catering to those who share certain proclivities, he’s perfectly happy with the small, select clientele they’ve curated. He doesn’t need some fancy suit telling him how to run his business—even if the advice is coming from the most stunning woman he’s ever seen. Worse, she’s right more than she’s wrong.

When he discovers that behind closed doors Kendra enjoys taking orders rather than giving them, their relationship takes a turn he never expected.

But trouble is coming for Club Apocalypse. If Mark can’t learn that sometimes even the Master must bend, he risks losing everything he’s worked to build.

Watch out,Raisa Greywood has a new series and it’s GOOD!!
After i pre-ordered it on Apple Books, i was lucky enough to get the ARC too,so i didn’t have to wait until release-day to find out more about these Four Horsemen….
And the introduction of these four brothers in arms is already making me want the next story, that’s for sure!

While the focus is on Mark, aka War,the other men are being introduced as well.
And they are in turn introduced to women that get under their skin from the moment they meet.
I can’t wait to find out more about Jake,Sean,Ryan and those women!

Mark,Jake,Ryan and Sean have opened a BDSM club 20 miles east of Winslow, and called it Club Apocalypse.
Using everything they have, they’re off to a good start, until trouble arrives and things turn bad.
Ryan has found someone that might be able to help them turn things around, but Mark isn’t convinced.
Especially when he meets that person….
Kendra is too beautiful, too soft and sweet to do the job.
Once she’s cleaned up after her long journey,he sees the powerwoman she is,but with a hidden vulnerability.
Convinced she’ll say no,he demands the only way she’s allowed to see their dungeon,is under his rules.
But she surprises him….and herself….in the way she submits to him.
If only they both didn’t have trauma’s they have trouble dealing with….

Kendra is surprised by her attraction to that….after they way he treated her.
But he apologized, and she’s ready to give him another chance.
The problems their club is having are relatively easy to deal with.
Now if only Mark was that easy to handle…
Until she finds out what his problem is,and she shares her past with him.

Kendra and Mark have both been through so much, and once they start sharing, they find they are good for eachother.
They are both willing to try, both are open to taking things further.
And that takes courage….
I loved them both, and i loved not only Jake,Sean and Ryan, but Mistress Sierra, their new security specialist Gabby and their new sous chef,Olivia too.
There are stories there i can’t wait to see unfold!

Good but not great

I'm a huge fan of this author and this book was really good. I loved the idea of the 4 horsemen and the relationships between the men are great. I also liked the development of Mark and Kendra. My issue is the lack of communication between them and how all the men, while dominant, didn't understand the line between D/s and an employer/employee relationship. You can't threaten to spank an employee even in a BDSM club. The chemistry between Mark and Kendra is great and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Mark and his best friends turned a broken down old hotel into an adult only resort with all the BDSM that you can handle. It was doing really well, but then things started going downhill and they needed to have some help. Enter Kendra.

Kendra is a fixer. She's good at her job, and she walks into her new job and immediately starts taking notes about what she needs to fix. Then she meets Mark, who is not the most welcoming person ever, and well, they pretty much would rather knock each other over than be nice to each other.

I love Kendra. She isn't going to let Mark or any man treat her poorly when it comes to her career. She's good, and she knows it. And she knows that she can help this resort. But, if Mark continues to mess with her, she's prepared to walk and let the place crash on its own.

Mark has his own issues, PTSD among them. He also has serious control issues. And Kendra challenges those control issues. He kind of likes her because of her competence, but he really wants to get under her skin.

This was explosive, and so good.

A new series and I'm completely down with it! I've been a fan of Raisa Greywood's books since she came on the scene and this series is probably going to become a favorite. Mark, aka War, and his 3 friends have opened a BDSM club and things were going good until some trouble arrived. It has kept visitors away so Ryan ( one of the other guys) hires Kendra who specializes in marketing business's. I loved how strong she is and how she doesn't back down from any of the guys but her personal interest is Mark. He doesn't want a relationship but finds her intriguing and then they start dancing around each other. I loved watching this interaction between them wondering who was going to give in first. Can they make it work, even though they both don't seem to want this? Such a good start to a new series and the secondary characters are some I'm looking forward to reading about, especially Gabby!!!

A new series, but we've received a peak into these characters before. Grim's Little Reaper is in the Dirty Daddies: 2021 book and I highly recommend it. Now, this story focuses on the four Horsemen and their BDSM club, which needs some help. Marc (War) for some reason has an immediate dislike to Kendra, the woman hired to help. I loved her smart, can do attitude and frankly did not like Marc very much at all. My one complaint is that the author took too long to explain Marc's issues. Also, since this is basically the first book in the series we get a lot of character introduction. These characters are definitely interesting and make me want to read more. This was a quick read, but we get a satisfying HEA.

Welcome to Apocalypse and the Four Horeseman. Welcome to a safe place to indulge, where everyone is welcome and the entrace fees aren't going to break the bank. That premise alone excited me. I love book series that revolve around a set location, but most of the times those locations are super exclusive and very expensive. Everyone that's a member has a boatload of money or power and if they don't then they spend all their savings on the idea of enjoying a night or a weekend. This isn't one of those places. The men are ex-millitary and they wanted a place where the average person could let loose. That's also the cause of the problem they find themselves in at the beginning of this book, and why we are introduced to them.

Apoalypse is hemoraging money and if things don't change quickly the hopes of the Four Horsemen will go up in flames. Enter Kendra. She is hired to act as a PR person and basic hero. However, not everyone is thrilled with the idea of needing someone to save them. Mark, otherwise known as War, want's things to stay the same, espcially his beloved dungeon, and he resents anyone coming in and telling the guys what to do. This is the issue that causes the angst and the spark between Mark and Kendra.

Kenra isn't a mousey, reserved female. She is strong, smart, and borders on being an Alpha in her own right. She is a savior by nature and stands up for those who can't stand up for themselves. She's not without her own scars and demons, though. Mark is brash, independent, quiet, aloof, and protective, and he has his own demons that he tries to keep hidden. It's not easy for them to let go of those demons and trust each other, but it's beautiful when they finally do.

This story is steamy, sexy, romantic, has moments of humor, and introduces the reader to an amazing cast of characters that won't easily be forgotten.

Raisa Greywood’s War’s Peace brings us back to the Majestic and the Horsemen of the Apocalypse and just like that, I was sucked in. From the prologue onward, I kept telling myself, just a few more pages and then I’ll go do XX, then it was one more chapter, and then…yeah. If you’re familiar with Ms. Greywood’s stories then you know that you will instantly be sucked into the story, spun around repeatedly, and deposited somewhat safely on the other side. At least, that’s how it is for me. In the Dirty Daddies Anthology, we got a taste of the Horsemen and the Apocalypse when we met Zach and the guys’ landscape designer, Jolene. And with that little taste, I knew this was going to be a great series. And, whelp, jump in feet first to this great resort just outside Winslow, Arizona (will not sing that song, will not sing that song) and everything about Kendra AND Gabby are great with how opposite they are. Kendra is strong and Gabby is adorable and you just know she frequents the Build-a-Bear store. Then there’s Mark and Sean and the way they’re behaving, you have to wonder if anyone will survive. Since this is Kendra and Mark’s story, with all the yumminy goodness of the other Horsemen built in (and Sierra!), so there’s lots of back and forth between two strong-willed people who are destined to be together. And it is oh so good, but this wouldn’t be a Raisa Greywood story without a bit of angst, a whole lot of humor, and all the fun-happy-times that go along with it that I’m not allowed to mention in my reviews, but you know they’re there.

The first book in a new series. If the location seems a bit familiar to some it is because the story The Grimm's Little Reaper takes place at the same location. This book takes place a few years later. It is not a problem if you haven’t read the story.

This book takes place at a BDSM club and introduces the four owners who are nicknamed after The Four Horsemen.

I enjoyed the style of writing and the interaction between the characters. Nobody is perfect which makes the characters more natural and easier to relate to. Kendra was smart and sassy and I liked her.

I did feel the story and characters could have used a bit more depth. The characters had secrets and problems from the past they still carried with them, but it was all a bit superficial. I felt the ending was rushed, but that could be because it is part of the series and also a setup for the rest of the series.

The club is the Apocalypse and it's run by the four Horsemen. That, in itself, has promise to be a great series and Raisa does it well. There was an intro to this series in the Dirty Daddy's Anthology (worth reading first if you can.) This is Kendra and Mark's (War) story. Kendra is hired by Ryan to market their business. She arrives to a dumpster fire and some very cranky Horsemen. There is chemistry between Kendra and Mark from the start and that is just more fuel on the fire. This is a wonderful beginning to a series - there is significant character introduction here, but it reads well and I definitely am looking forward to the rest of the series. (I received an ARC for this review.)

Amazing story with a broken man and horribly mistreated woman in a moving story, which I absolutely didn't want to end. This friendship of the Horsemen to start a business. Suffering from the passion of keeping it going. Along with the prejudice from a community of small minded people. I really liked all the characters in this book and Raisa gave each a story that will hopefully set the scene for the next book. I know I am not alone in wanting to follow Mark and Kendra. Into the next book in this series hoping to see them again very soon. Great job 👏 I can't wait for the next book in this captivating series.

This was such a great read. An intoxicating blend of emotion, heat, drama, twists and heart fuels this well written read and to be honest, once I started it, I hated to put it down. Mark and Kendra are likeable and complex characters that have a potent chemistry that sparks and sizzles. I really liked them both a lot. We are also introduced to an intriguing cast of secondary characters that are sure to inspire future enticing entries in this seductive new series. I loved this one and I am eagerly looking forward to the next. This is my independent, impartial review.

Wow, just wow.

What a thought provoking, intensely moving story of friendship and love and passion along with prejudice and bias from people who know little and don’t wish to know more. I really liked these characters - with backstories that help set the scene for what is moving forward. Mark and Kendra - War and his Peace - are just perfect together. I am really looking forward to the next books in this series. Hoping sooner rather than later.

I really enjoyed the start of the relationship here. I was first introduced to the characters by the short story about Daddy and Jolene. I do wish they had been a part of this. Looking forward to the next book.

War’s Peace - 5 Stars!

Club Apocalypse, we got our first little taste of it in Grim’s Little Reaper (which I highly recommend as well). When I read it I knew I was going to need The Four Horsemen’s stories too. War’s Peace did NOT disappoint! Mark and Kendra have sizzling chemistry and you can feel how strong the bond is between the guys. I absolutely adore the world Ms. Greywood has created and cannot wait to get the other stories.

Protesters are keeping paying customers from entering the club and Kendra Hall, a marketing and operations wizz, she's a fixer with a reputation for being right, more than she's wrong is hired to help out. Mark seems to have a problem with Kendra that a little Dom/sub action can fix but also a secret he allows no one to know about. Kendra can help out with War's (Mark's) problem as she delves back into the lifestyle after being out of it since she became a widow.
I am loving these lifestyle stories that have been coming out lately with more mature H and h's, don't miss this one!

I thought we would have a little more of Mark and Kendra's story. Hopefully we get a little more insight into in their lives in the next books of the series. The BDSM was handled in a classy and spicy way.

I loved the characters, and especially loved how inclusive a lot of the secondary cast are. The sex scenes were hot, the characters flawed but trying to be better. I definitely want to keep reading this series. I can't remember reading why Mark was touch adverse. I would have appreciated knowing that, but not knowing doesn't detract from the story.

AFTER YOU, ALICE. WELCOME TO WONDERLAND

The story is the first book for the new Club Apocalypse series. A group of four men have bought an old motel and diner and have restored them and made a unique BDSM club. The only problem is that they are in the red, protesters have kept people away, and nothing seems to work, so it is decided to bring in someone for marketing and operations. Kendra Hall is the fixer they need—but what happens when she makes suggestions for changes?

Take four dominant men with a huge dream and so much money invested into that dream and the property but having issues. So what do you do? Give up and take a loss, or find someone who can turn it around? When Kendra Hall shows up early, she is shocked at what she sees in the lobby, but her brain starts spinning about changes to make. Meeting Sierra, she is impressed, but meeting Mark Luciano, not so much. He acts mad that she is even there.

I think what grabbed my attention in this story—compared to so many other D/s BDSM stories- was that the characters had a 'real' feel. The dominants are not all these 'I-am-the-king-of-my-world' men; they are human, they have their issues too—especially sadist Mark, a man who has an aversion to physical contact. I liked that Kendra has her demons, coming off a divorce from a manipulative husband who was mentally abusive. Will some of her healing technics also help Mark?

While Kendra is new to the BDSM D/s lifestyle, she isn't a novice on the concept, having read many stories and having a general idea. She believes she can make a difference for Club Apocalypse if the Horsemen get the chips off their shoulders and allow her to make suggestions. The only part of the business that is doing fair is the restaurant, but with protesters, people aren't even coming to it.

It takes trust in a person to allow your submission, and Kendra does that by being a demo dolly for Mark. It is a teaching lesson for Doms and subs, but it is enlightening. Will Kendra open up doors for Mark and help him learn to trust and explore more with the right person?

"Bravery is being scared and doing what needs to be done anyway."

"It might have been realizing he was a little broken just like she was, and she wanted to believe their jagged edges would fit together."

The private scene between Mark and Kendra is a genuine level of trust—not just for her, but for him. Unfortunately, they both are guilty of assuming and making mistakes that lead to hurt feelings. But, will it be enough, or will the walls come back up?

Mark: Maybe I like you a little scared too. Ready to buckle up and enjoy the ride? Would you like to close your eyes, or would you prefer a blindfold?
Kendra: I thought you made the decisions. You're the master, right?
Mark: Within reason. You decide where we're going, but I decide how we get there.
Kendra: I'm not sure I understand.
Mark: Good girl for telling me that. I don't want you to see what I'm doing, so I want you to either close your eyes and keep them closed, or let me blindfold you. You get to pick which one.

The story will bring in several other women, and I am sure we will be seeing their stories soon. First is Dr. Gabrielle Knox, specializing in counter-espionage and trackable viruses to handle their system and security—and clashes with Sean Franklin. Then Olivia Rivera as a sous chef, straight out of prison—and Jake McBride is hard on her, making her feel unwanted. And ends with Carrie Yost, an abused twenty-two-year-old who escapes from the latest group of protesters, The Shepherds of the Coming Peace, who Ryan Woods will rescue.

A great story with wonderful and unique characters that come alive immediately you meet them. Each one of them has had a tragedy and yet they are survivors with unique skills. This is Mark and Kendra’s story and it is so engaging. Kendra is a sub, she just isn’t aware until Mark awakens her latent tendencies, but she is no pushover, Mark describes her as an alpha sub. She is smart and an astute business woman and nothing seems to faze her, she will find a way to work with it even Mark’s touch averse condition. She is at the same time a mother hen and takes Gabby and Olivia under her wing. This is a quick read but that could be because it is so fascinating and a great first book in the Apocalypse series, I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

This had so much heart the characters Mark and Kendra had a connection that was just explosive and their own serious issues that made them so understanding and beautiful and accepting but also complex that made it sizzling hot.

Club Apocalypse has come along way with Kendras help she was fierce and so determined and never backs down and I loved her fight.

This just draws you in its written with so much passion and heart and I'm looking forward to the next Horseman story.

I had first read the prequel in the "Club Apocalypse" series called 'Grim's Little Reaper' by Raisa Greywood which was published in the "Dirty Daddies 2021 Anthology' and thought that I really wanted to follow the series. But as it sometimes does, life got in the way and other commitments intruded on my time until I came across and reread the story when it reappeared in the 'First Taste Anthology' and was determined to follow through. I'm so glad I did! 'War's Peace' is the first book in the series and I am so glad I followed through this time. Four men who had gone through Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL, BUD/s training, have remained friends and are now also business partners after they came out of the service. They were known as the Four Horsemen. "Ryan Wood, their field medic, just cried out to be called Pestilence. Jake McBride's nickname, Famine was easy. He could turn an MRE into haute cuisine with little more than ketchup packets and Tabasco sauce. Sean Franklin's nickname didn't take much thought either. Silent unless he wanted you to hear him coming, he was Death and was the ultimate peacekeeper amongst them. That left Mark Luciano who was known as War." This is his story. Unfortunately, Mark has demons of his own he's fighting along with the continual downward financial spiral of the club they've created. It was Ryan's brilliant idea to hire someone who could take over and strategize what needed to be done in order to improve things and make them profitable. That's where Kendra Hall comes into play as their new Vice President of Operations. The characters are perfectly flawed, the quips between the partners and employees produced several chuckles as I read this, and then their anticipation and experience of the BDSM scenes themselves. Nothing extremely heavy or dark but enough to bring the heart rate up. This was a wonderful read and I intend to immediately follow up with 'Pestilence's Cure'.

This is the first book in Club Apocalypse, about four military brethren who pool their assets to turn a decaying Route 66 motel into a BDSM destination resort. The four warriors have the nicknames of the horsemen of the Apocalypse (hence the club name).

Mark (War) is touch-phobic and basically focuses on the Dungeon aspect of the resort. He is deeply distressed by change. The problem is that the resort does not have the income flow to survive in its current state and so much change. They hire a manager (Kendra) to make changes. So there is a clash.

Not a surprise (considering the genre), Kendra finds that her absolutely alpha take-charge personality does not have to extend to all things. Big shock, yes?

And there's the book.

This is a relatively short book. Tightly written. Great characters. I absolutely loved it. I have read and am reading other BDSM romances with long, drawn-out, angst-sodden scenes as the characters sort out the problems that doom a relationship. That is OK also, but this is great. It works. I highly recommend this book.

Club Apocalypse
Raisa Greywood

The series is an excellent read. I’ve reviewed a lot of books but never one of erotica. I haven’t read very many in that genre and have never been exposed to the lifestyle. That being said, I was thoroughly impressed and very excited to be exposed to something so far out of my own experience and comfort zone.
The heroes are retired military men who own a sex club and discover enduring love as a result. The books were very well written and had a unique quality of bringing the characters and the readers alike into a world of self-discovery.
If explicit sexual content scenes and situations don’t appeal to you I’d suggest you avoid it. But if you’re the least bit adventurous you might be in for a delightful ride. I recommend it highly.

I found this an odd book. The plot is centred around a failing BDSM club with a fine dining restaurant and 40 or so letting rooms set in a remote location off Route 66. They are having trouble with protests from conservative religious activists. Why on earth would anybody set up such a business in a remote conservative location?

The MMC is ex military with a phobia against personal touch and the FMC has just come out of an abusive marriage. Somehow they manage to bond and the interactions between these characters is interesting and well handled but just when they are getting somewhere we are expected to believe that everything is solved and a new storyline is abruptly introduced.

Brilliant introduction to Apocalypse

Four men in the armed forces, nicknamed The Horsemen. Mark is War. They create a safe space for like-minded people who want to explore their sexuality, Club Apocalypse, but it is struggling. Kendra Hall is hired to rescue the club, but Mark is against her, until he spends some time with her.
This was great. I loved Mark, an Alpha hole with issues, while Kendra is amazing, feisty, intelligent, determined and a sub. We get to meet others who will doubtless return in subsequent books, all well-defined and interesting.
A wonderful story.

instant attraction, slow burn to love

“One look and I fell in love” doesn’t really happen, so I love it when there is an instant awareness between two characters, but it needs that smoldering heat that builds over time until they simply can’t avoid one another and their love truly blooms. I love watching that development. If you feel the same you will absolutely love this story.
