Thank you MJ Mars for this read!

This was such a refreshingly fun book. It took me back to all the memories of reading goosebumps. This book is just like that but with more gore and action- i loved all the journey of our characters and how the pace didn't seem to slow at all!

Anyone who is looking for a fast paced, and uniquely fun read - pick this up!

This is my second Try Not To Die book and I loved it so much!! Not only I found it informative, it was also very entertaining and I felt truly on a quest.

I’m happy to say I managed to die only 2 times, which I’m proud of. I found all the characters and the whole plot very good and I would say it’s a well written blend of horror, fantasy and adventure. The protagonists made me go back in time to my carefree times, and I was surprised by the author’s skills that defined them so well in such a short space.

If you want to discover the UK in a fun way, whilst trying to avoid dying in creative and painful ways, this is an amazing story!

Thanks to the authors for a copy and this is my honest opinion.

I just finished reading Try Not To Die In The UK by the talented MJ Mars. It was so much fun. I don't want to say to much and give anything away but the story was right up my street, I didn't expect the theme but it was really enjoyable. I died 3 times, which I was quite proud of 😂. The characters were all very likable and the ones we're meant to dislike, well they were easy not to like so much. I loved reading about all the different UK landmarks and being from Scotland, there are a few I recognise fondly. If you get the chance to, definitely pick this one up when it's released next month. It really was a lot of fun.

This was my first TNTD experience, and it was insanely fun. The format turned reading into a game.

The story itself was a fantastic Arthurian quest. MJ Mars turned her amazing skills in telling a horror tale to giving us a fun fantasy story. She used the magic of the King Arthur mythos perfectly in a modern setting. The characters were witty as they embarked on a quest worthy of a Round Table Knight. Making the wrong choice led to some intense consequences, and it was worth going back and reading them after I finished the story and read all of the alternate endings.

The combination of the experience and the great story made this an amazing and fun book.

In this interactive horror adventure, you'll embark on a thrilling quest that takes you around the UK. Along the way, you'll encounter various decisions that you must make carefully. If you make the right choice, you'll live to continue your journey, but if you make the wrong decision, you'll meet a bloody death. I enjoy this book even though I might met, an early death couple of times

I love these things, I swear, there is just something that has me so excited and scream a little when I see a new one announced, and I’m lucky enough to get to read them early!

This is another good one and we got to team up with MJ this time and well, TNTD lol.
It was so different from the others, and I’m not sure how to explain that exact, but I am telling you it was so good, and cool.
It was like Try Not To Die but were on a interactive tour across the UK, I was going to say, can this be a real thing, but I kind of want to avoid the potential to die part, so maybe skip that idea.
I love learning about places, through writing, and it doesn’t always have to be non fiction, you learn a lot from a places myths and legends, and MJ tells us about the through out this little fun trip.’

I only died 5 times this time, which means I get to go back for a few more rounds, because I can promise you, only dying 5 times means I have only scratched the surface, but also,I liked it this much AND I’ve still got a few more passes I can make, and have a whole different adventure.

Did I mention how much I love this series and set up ??
Thank you again, both Mark and MJ for letting me check this out.

Try Not To Die in the UK follows three friends, starting off on a simple tour of Scotland, but a discovery leads them to an adventure of epic proportions. They find a treasure chest full of jewels, a shield with some open spaces, and a scroll from Merlin himself. They must find 8 pieces, awaken King Arthur, and bring him to Tintagel within the next five days. If they fail, all the terrors of the past will be released, bringing upon the end of the world.

This was such a fun ride, full of creatures and lore that I've never even heard of before. I loved getting the glossary of everything at the end, too, to further learn about everything.

My only issue was that I only died twice, and I think I could have gone the whole book without dying at all if I actually thought about the two for a couple seconds. The answers were all pretty straightforward, and I missed the whole "Oh come on, I thought I had the right answer but instead suffered a horrible end" feeling that I usually get from TNTD adventures.

It was still a fun ride, though!

Try Not To Die In The UK: is another phenomenally fantastic bloody fun Interactive Adventure in Mark Tullius TNTD Series. This one has a fun plot of legend, myths and creatures that we are all familiar with. I love how unpredictable the choices can be. Doesn’t matter how safe you think you are, you still could end up dead. I’m not going to disclose how many times I died. But I will say they were quite enjoyable. This series and each of these books are so more then just a story being told. So what are you waiting for pick an adventure and Try Not To Die!! You can start anywhere in the series but make sure not to miss TNTD in the UK.

A whistle-stop tour of some of the most famous sights of the United Kingdom, this interactive adventure book sends you on an epic quest, where one wrong choice will have deadly outcomes.

Can you choose wisely, and restore King Arthur to his throne before all hope is lost? A cross between a classic adventure story, and a choose your own adventure book, this story is so much fun!

And if, like me, you absolutely fail at being a final girl or boy, there's a survivors story included, so you can enjoy the tale without the death!

Thank you to the author for providing a review copy.

As soon as I heard MJ Mars was adding a new volume to the Try Not to Die library, I was already in. TNTD In the UK was tons of fun. It also has the honor of being the TNTD book in which I have died the LEAST - only 2 times. 😂 Because I only died a couple times, the book does mean heavily in the dark fantasy realm. I always play the game honestly at first, then go back and read the ways I could have died. So I can say firmly, yes, this is a horror book. 4 stars

Huge thank you to Mark Tullious and MJ Mars for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first choose your own adventure book and it was a fun time! I only died twice and only went through the story once. This will be fun to revisit in the future and try different options!

This was less horror and more dark fantasy but definitely had horror elements. I loved that the book took you on an informative tour of the UK while still having a good story.

I'll definitely have to check out more of these in the future! 4.5⭐️s!

I really enjoyed my ARC copy of this book! I like M.J Mars immersion into the atmosphere of her writing....I definitely need to look at more of her work. Mark Tullius is epic as well. It's very fun how they aren't predictable in their choices. What you think is a safe and sensible choice sometimes goes in a bloody mistep. It's a great romp though Anglo Saxon lore. I'm glad Nessie got a good stroll through the story. I'd be happy to try to see her myself sometime.

What a fun read! It took me straight back to my childhood, where you could skip the pages to decide your own fate. With also having the choice to read the story as is, it's completely up to you which path you take. I did both and loved them equally. I loved the stories of centuries old fae and Arthurian legends and absolutely devoured every page. I loved the UK attractions that were chosen, with Brecon being close to my heart. Thank you so much, MJ, for trusting me with this ARC

I wasn't sure how I would like this book but I loved it! Read it all in one go and had a few deaths along the way which is part of the fun. I don't want to give anything away but if you have already tried these books you will totally enjoy yourself. And if you haven't, what are you waiting for.

More historical/fantasy novel than horror but a fun experience eitherway. Loved the concept and the various legends of UK intertwined to create a fun adventure and a chance to offer a learning experience to whoever wants to find out more about UK's myths.

I really enjoy the TNTD series and The UK version is no exception. A good storyline, filled with humour, history and fantasy. I died twice in this interaction adventure, which is an improvement for me! Entertaining and highly recommended.

This is an awesome book. As in all of the Try Not to Die books that I've read I die. That's ok, just makes me want to reread them. I haven't gotten past the Loch Ness monster, but, I will. These interactive books are great! Back to the book...

Only 2 times in this one so I guess I’m meant to go travel in the UK! I liked learning about the different story lines and the history of the ancient places that were visited.

MJ Mars and a Try Not to Die?! Count me in! This one starts at Loch Ness and takes you on a quest around the UK. As usual, you have some decisions to make along the way, and some creative deaths if you make the wrong choice. The correct choice is not always clear-cut! MJ does a great job bringing the myths and legends of the UK to life, and overall this one was a really fun read!
